The Grease Interceptor visible by interior video cameras: You're looking at a live video feed of all three interceptor chambers (3 cameras) and the control and inoculator system located in the chemical bunker room. You can see the microbes at work reducing the grease. Sensors and probes immersed in these chambers collect data continuously. The last chamber (sample box) is fitted with a highly modified video camera sensitive to UV light emissions. This helps the control system to compute the grease content in the discharge. (This technology is US Patent Pending). As a result the image appears black and white, with a white halo in the center.
